Effective Feedback and Delegation

One of the qualities of a great manager and leader is her ability to delegate effectively. This creates an environment where all employees develop and hone their skills. However, the inability to trust and insecurities about self leads to unsuccessful delegation of work.

This program would help managers build trust on an interpersonal level, improve working relationships, and confidently empower individuals and groups within the organization. This contributes to greater empowerment and higher trust-levels which further leads to improving job performance and accountability by effectively delegating. Parallelly, the program also enables the participants to understand that the ‘one-size fits all’ approach does not work while delegating activities. It also informs them about their leadership style while delegating work by using Situational Leadership Model.

Delegation is only effective when clubbed with timely and correct Feedback. With timely feedback, managers can optimize employee performance and further help develop their skills. Thus, by understanding how to delegate effectively and provide constructive feedback, participants will be able to create opportunities for their employees to take on new responsibilities. When they learn and develop new skills, they are likely to feel motivated to achieve organizational results.
