Shakti – Women Empowerment

“If you’re offered a seat on a rocket ship, don’t ask what seat! Just get on” – Sheryl Sandberg quoted this statement to make women aware about their own implicit biases and empower them to take charge of their own career and aspirations. Our Program is inspired by Sheryl Sandberg’s book Lean In and has been developed on the similar lines. It focuses on creating a nurturing culture that is diverse and inclusive in nature.

The program focuses on empowering women to believe in themselves, form networks to support and learn from one another to grow in their professional and personal world. Women often feel overwhelmed because of the disparity in the tasks at hand and resources available to fulfil those tasks. Through Shakti, participants will focus their energy to strengthen themselves and manage others as well.

It becomes easier to strengthen oneself, when an individual is aware about how unique and special they are, just by being themselves. While we all have our own role models in our mind, moving in their life’s direction pull us further down. Hence, it becomes crucial to leverage our own strength to achieve what we truly desire. It is also critical to ask for support and become someone’s support, when required in various phases of life. This program also encourages women employees to build their network by leveraging multiple paths like aligning to their vision/purpose, harnessing their passions, building Emotional Bank Account, finding Mentors etc. By the end of the program, participants will overcome their own biases and mental blocks that they had created in their own mind and move towards greater self-confidence and self-conviction to achieve what they aim to.
